When I’m having a challenging day, hour… I do a quick meditation, I learned this when I was in college. I loved this teacher, in particular, because I learned so much from him. I have adapted what I learned to work for pain as well as frustrations. The great thing about it, it only takes a few minutes Begin with closing your eyes. Quiet your mind. Focus your thoughts on a quiet place. For me, it has always been the beach.
Breathe. Focus on your breath. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Breathe in that wonderful stuff of life.
Breathe out your pain (or frustration, whatever’s bothering you)
repeat each 5 – 10 times.
Breathe in Peace and Calm.
Breathe out all remaining stressors.
Repeat 8 – 10 times.
Give yourself a few minutes to come back to where you are, what you are doing. Breathe. Move forward into your day. I hope this helps you.
